The future of the "Global Britain" strategy in the UK's post-Brexit foreign policy ; Майбутнє стратегії «Глобальна Британія» у зовнішній політиці сполученого королівства в період постбрексіту

Abstract

This article discusses the strategy for the development of the concept of "Global Britain", its key elements, existing and possible challenges and opportunities for implementation in the modern system of interaction with the European Union, America and the rest of the world. A separate role is assigned to determine the possible role (including global) in the formation of a new balance of power and the coronavirus pandemic. The following methods and approaches were used in the research process: system approach, which considers the phenomenon as an integral element; methods of induction and deduction, dialectical method of research and problem-historical approach. The author concludes that the vision of the United Kingdom as a global state is ambiguous due to the uncertain image of the state in the international arena and due to complicated domestic processes that hinder the implementation of effective foreign policy. ; У цій статті розглянуто стратегію розвитку концепції «Глобальна Британія», її ключові елементи, наявні та можливі виклики і можливості реалізації в рамках сучасної системи взаємодій з Європейським союзом, Америкою та рештою світу після наслідків та офіційного виходу Сполученого Королівства з ЄС. Окрема роль виділена на визначення можливої ролі (в т. ч. глобальної) в рамках формування нового балансу сил і пандемії коронавірусу. В процесі дослідження було використано наступні методи та підходи: системний підхід, який розглядає явище в якості цілісної елементу; методи індукції та дедукції, діалектичний метод дослідження та проблемно-історичний підхід. Авторкою зроблено висновок про неоднозначність бачення Сполученого Королівства у ролі глобальної держави внаслідок невизначеного іміджу держави на міжнародній арені та внаслідок ускладнених внутрішніх процесів, які гальмують проведення ефективної зовнішньої політики.
