Abstract

El Sistema de Información Territorial de Aragón (SITAR) es la herramienta tecnológica que nace como resultado de la aplicación de las competencias en materia de ordenación territorial de Aragón. Su nacimiento y evolución posterior viene influenciado tanto por el propio desarrollo legislativo autonómico como por las exigencias que la Unión Europea, la comunidad científica y la sociedad reclaman a este tipo de plataformas de información pública. En el presente artículo se detallarán los aspectos tecnológicos más destacados en la evolución paradigmática de SITAR hacia una Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales así como, las incidencias y avances encontrados en el desarrollo de esta herramienta. ; The Aragón Territorial Information System (SITAR) is a technological tool that was born as a result of the application of the autonomous competencies on territorial management that the constitution and the reginal statute ensure to the Aragonian people. Its creation and subsequent developments are influenced by the requirements that the regional legislation, the European Union, the scientific community and the society that are demanding from this type of public information platforms. This article details the most important aspects of the SITAR in relation to its technological evolution towards an spatial data infrastructure and also the incidents and findings that occurred while developing this tool.
