Abstract

In this study, citizenship is defined as the personalization of the institute of democratic itizenship, taking into account the influence on it of a symbolic component. The state of functioning of the political system of modern Ukraine is determined by the point of bifurcation: the definition of the future integration vector of the political development of Ukraine is slowed down, and the new challenges direct the vector of political development to returning to the regulated past. It must be admitted that the main factor determining the vector of political development of Ukrainian society was society itself, because European values – human rights, welfare and security were the determining motives in protest-correctional statements of citizens against corruption treacherous authorities.In this investigation are used the institutional approach for the understanding of civic consciousness as a political institution and determination of the conceptual framework of the components of citizenship through its social purpose as part of the community which is a bearer of identity as the source of personality and ability to organize themselves in a political context. With the help of the psychological approach the essence of the functioning of the institute of civic consciousness is considered, where an important role is played by symbolic component. The analysis of the survey on the impact of political symbols on the mood of students of the Southern region of Ukraine which were conducted by the author in December 2016 is provided. The influence of internal and external challenges of the Ukrainian society of the end of 2013th and beginning of 2018th on the formation of a collective citizenship i. e. civic consciousness as a political practice is investigated.The research has a scientific and practical value in order to determine the strategy of the national policy of political socialization of the citizens, taking into account the unifying influence of the national national symbolism and the national language, and determining the role of the institute of democratic citizenship in Ukraine in the direction of the further vector of political development. Such a result suggests that national values can mobilize potential resources into a sufficiently critical mass of civilian energy and guide the vector of political development of the political system towards European values. ; В данном исследовании определена гражданственность как персонализация института демократической гражданственности с учѐтом влияния на него символической составляющей. Использован институциональный подход для понимания гражданственности как политического института и определения концептуальной структуры компонентов гражданственности через еѐ социальное предназначение в составе общности. С помощью психологического подхода рассмотрена сущность функционирования института гражданственности, где важную роль играет символическая составляющая. Представлен анализ анкетирования с изучением влияния политических символов на настроения студенческой молодѐжи Южного региона Украины, проведённые автором в декабре 2016 року. Исследуется влияние внешних и внутренних вызовов украи-нского общества конца 2013-го – начала 2018-го годов на формирование коллективной гражданственности, тоесть гражданственности как политической практики.Исследование имеет научную и практическую ценность с целью определения стратегии национальной политики политической социализации граждан с учѐтом объединительного влияния государственной национальной символики и национального языка, а также определения роли института демократической гражданственности в Украине по направлению дальнейшего вектора политического развития. ; У цьому дослідженні громадянськість визначена як персоналізація інституту демократичної громадянськості із врахуванням впливу на нього символічної складової. Використано інституційний підхід для розуміння громадянськості як політичного інституту та визначення концептуальної структури компонентів громадянськості через її соціальне призначення у складі спільноти. За допомогою психологічного підходу розглянуто сутність функціонування інституту громадянськості, де важливу роль відіграє символічна складова. Надається аналіз анкетування з вивчення впливу політичних символів на настрої студентської молоді Південного регіону України, проведені авторкою в грудні 2016 року. Досліджується вплив зовнішніх і внутрішніх викликів українського суспільства кінця 2013 – початку 2018 років на формування колективної громадянськості, тобто громадянськості як політичної практики.Дослідження має наукову та практичну цінність з метою визначення стратегії національної політики політичної соціалізації громадян із врахуванням об'єднувального впливу державної національної символіки і національної мови та визначення ролі інституту демократичної громадянськості в Україні у спрямуванні подальшого вектора політичного розвитку.
