Abstract

The purpose of the study is aimed at a comprehensive analysis of materials highlighting the specific results of cooperation between Ukrainian Military Medical Academy (UMMA) and medical services of the NATO countries, which has almost quarter-century history, since the mid-1990s, and in which the medical service of the Turkish Armed Forces occupies a leading position. Materials and methods. The information base of the article includes the materials of official bilateral visits between the leaders of medical services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Turkish Republic, and between the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy and the Gulhane Military Medical Academy (Ankara) at 1997-2000. A unique illustrative content (photographic materials) is included, which is verifying the documents and data used in the article. Results. The article describes in details of the visit program and their practical implementation. Based on the specific results of professional relationships between Ukrainian and Turkish military medical specialists their scientific and practical significance and relevance have been demonstrated. Conclusions. Active organizational and informational cooperation in the process of official bilateral Ukrainian-Turkish visits at 1997-2000 laid the foundation for further cooperation between medical services and military medical academies of Ukraine and Turkey. The first official visit of the leaders of medical service of the armed forces of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey in April 1997 and familiarization with the organization and functioning of the medical service, as well as the training of military doctors for the armed forces of Turkey as a NATO member country, had a defined value in the development of military medical training system in Ukraine. The subsequent bilateral scientific and practical relations between Ukrainian and Turkish military doctors in June 2000 significantly improved their development and upgrading. Due to the intensity of the political dialogue on topical security issues in the foreign policy of Ukraine and Turkey, the further development of relations between the armed forces of Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey, in particular in the military medicine field, is very relevant and can raise them to a qualitatively new level, subject to effective scientific and practical cooperation ; L'article décrit en détail les programmes de visites officielles de l'histoire des relations entre l'Académie de médecine militaire ukrainienne et l'Académie de médecine militaire Gulhane des forces armées turques et leur mise en œuvre pratique. Sur la base des résultats spécifiques des relations professionnelles entre les médecins spécialistes militaires ukrainiens et turcs, leur signification et leur pertinence scientifiques et pratiques ont été prouvées. Le but de l'étude est une analyse complète des matériaux mettant en évidence les résultats spécifiques de la coopération de l'UVMA avec les services médicaux des États membres de l'OTAN, qui dure depuis près d'un quart de siècle, depuis le milieu des années 1990, et dans laquelle le service médical des forces armées de la République de Turquie occupe une place de premier plan. En raison de l'intensité du dialogue politique sur les questions de sécurité d'actualité dans la politique étrangère de l'Ukraine et de la Turquie, la poursuite du développement des relations entre les forces armées ukrainiennes et les forces armées de la République de Turquie, en particulier dans le domaine de la médecine militaire, est très pertinente et, sous réserve d'une coopération scientifique et pratique efficace, peut à un niveau qualitativement nouveau. Conclusions. Une coopération organisationnelle et informationnelle active lors des visites bilatérales officielles ukraino-turques au cours de la période 1997-2000 a jeté les bases d'une coopération future entre les services médicaux et les académies médicales militaires d'Ukraine et de Turquie. У зв'язку з інтенсивністю політичного діалогу з актуальних питань безпеки у зовнішній політиці України та Туреччини, подальший розвиток взаємин між ЗС України та ЗС Турецької Республіки, зокрема в сфері військової медицини, є вельми актуальним і, за умови ефективного науково-практичного співробітництва, може підняти їх на якісно новий рівень. Висновки. Активне організаційно-інформаційне співробітництво в ході офіційних двосторонніх українсько-турецьких візитів в період 1997-2000 років заклала фундамент для подальшого співробітництва між медичними службами і військово-медичними академіями України та Туреччини. Перший офіційний візит керівників медичної служби ЗС України в Турецьку республіку в квітні 1997 року і ознайомлення з організацією і функціонуванням медичної служби, а також підготовкою військових лікарів для збройних сил Туреччини як країни - члена НАТО, мали певне значення в умовах створення власної системи військово-медичної освіти в Україні.
