Abstract

Розглянуто курдську проблему та її особливості, історію боротьби курдського народу за самовизначення в Туреччині.Проаналізовано чинники, що ускладнюють врегулювання конфлікту. Вивчено проблеми та перспективи вступу Туреччини до ЄС. Значна увага приділяється можливостям вирішення курдського питання та забезпечення прав курдів в контексті європейської інтеграції Туреччини. ; At present the Kurdish problem ranks highly amongethnopolitical conflicts. The settlement of this conflict is essentialfor the maintenance of international peace and security, as itsaggravation has repeatedly caused using military methods ofpersecution, repression and even terrorist attacks.Kurdish issue is complicated by several factors, includinga large number of stakeholders, causing different approachesto the settlement of Kurdish issue and using for this purposedifferent methods that are often violent. This, in turn, onlycomplicates the situation because the problem requires jointefforts and political will of all states concerned for a peacefulresolution of existing contradictions.The article examines the emergence and development ofthe confrontation between the conflicting parties, the historyof the deployment of Kurdish national liberation movement,features of the Kurds'situation in each of four states (Turkey,Iraq, Iran, Syria). It is important to demonstrate a high level ofnational awareness of the Kurdish people, the legitimacy of theirdemands and aspirations and the ability to reach a joint solutionto the conflict peacefully.Particular attention should be paid to the situation of theKurds in Turkey and to the prospects for its improvementbecause of the European aspirations of Turkey. At presentTurkey's desire to join the European Union is an importantfactor contributing to the possibility of positive influence ofEuropean powers on solving the Kurdish problem.In terms of our research an important factor in the context ofpolitical democratization of the country is the EU requirementto solve the Kurdish issue, including providing the Kurds theright to freely speak their own language and respect for nationaland cultural identity of the Kurdish people. ; Рассмотрены курдская проблема и ее особенности,история борьбы курдского народа за самоопределениев Турции. Проанализированы факторы, затрудняющиеурегулирование конфликта. Изучены проблемы иперспективы вступления Турции в ЕС. Значительноевнимание уделяется возможностям решения курдскоговопроса и обеспечения прав курдов в контексте европейскойинтеграции Турции.
