Abstract

The article touches upon correspondence of Julian Movchan and Volodymyr Vynnychenko during 1947–1950 years. The letters are stored in archive in UVAN (USA). They are important, because they help to understand late Vynnychenko better and to reveal his relations with Ukrainian diaspora. Consequential in this content are his letters with generation DP, especially with Julian Movchan. DP helped Vynnychenko to come out from his inner emigration that was caused by controversial attitude of the Ukrainian diaspora to him. They changed the mind ofemigration majority about Volodymyr Vynnychenko. The author analyzes these letters in three aspects. These aspects are everyday life, political and artistic. ; У статті вивчається міжособистісне листування Юліана Мовчана з Володимиром Винниченком з архіву УВАН у США, яке хронологічно охоплює 1947-1950-ті роки. Подані кореспонденції аналізуються за трьома основними сюжетами: побутовим, громадсько-політичним та художнім.
