Letter from George Emerson to Alden Partridge, 2 July 1847
Abstract
George Washington Franklin Emerson writes from Wilmington, Delaware, to Alden Partridge in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; gives news of Corry Chambers, his school there, and his plans to open a ladies seminary superintended by Mrs. Chambers; Emerson will make an address at the school in Harrisburg in August and will think about staying in Harrisburg; wishes Partridge would run for Congress. ; Transcription by Joseph Byrne.
