Mercosur-Tlcan-UE: an Atlantic or Bermuda triangle? ; Mercosur-Tlcan-UE: triángulo atlántico o triángulo de las Bermudas

Abstract

The article addresses Mercosur's foreign affairs on the perspective of what the author calls new triangle, involving Nafta, European Union and Mercosur. The author traces back the historical background of the current constitution of countries' integration zones in America, as well as their mutual relations, and makes considerations on possible developments in these relations. ; O artigo aborda as relaçoes externas do Mercosul, no âmbito do que o autor chama de novo triângulo, envolvendo o Tlcan ou Nafta, a União Européia e o Mercosul. O autor recupera os antecedentes históricos da constituição atual dos blocos na América, bem como de suas mútuas relaçoes e tece consideraçoes sobre os possíveis desdobramentos das mesmas.
