Abstract

This paper concentrates on the various options of introducing the institution of the investigatingjudge in pre-trial criminal proceedings. The author justifies his vision of the organizationof judicial control and powers of the investigating judge in the pre-trial stages of the criminalprocess. The draft legislative regulation of depositing the evidence by the investigatingjudge is considered as a separate issue. The author develops the idea of the Nizhny Novgorodschool of processualists concerning the reform of the preliminary investigation and the legalrelationship system between the investigating judge and the parties. ; В статье обсуждаются различные варианты введения института следственногосудьи в досудебное уголовное производство. Автор обосновывает свое видение орга-низации судебного контроля и полномочий следственного судьи на досудебных ста-диях уголовного процесса. Отдельным вопросом обсуждается проект законодатель-ной регламентации депонирования доказательств следственным судьей. Автор разви-вает идеи нижегородской школы процессуалистов относительно реформы предвари-тельного расследования и системы правовых отношений между следственным судьейи сторонами.
