ETHNOGRAPHY FOR PEACE, INTERCULTURALISM AND CONFLICTS ; ETNOGRAFÍA PARA LA PAZ, LA INTERCULTURALIDAD Y LOS CONFLICTOS

Abstract

This article presents some propositional level elements for ethnographic research aimed at peace studies, multiculturalism, conflict and democracy, after considering the need to decolonize the thinking and practice of the method. I propose that this ethnography —in our Latin American environment— will be critical, research coproduction, which contribute to the knowledge of our sociocultural realities. ; El presente artículo expone algunos elementos a nivel propositivo para la investigación etnográfica dirigida a los estudios para la paz, la interculturalidad, los conflictos y la democracia, a partir de considerar la necesidad de descolonizar el pensar y la praxis del método. Se propone que esta etnografía —en nuestro entorno latinoamericano— sea crítica y de coproducción investigativa que aporte al conocimiento de nuestras realidades socioculturales.
