Abstract

This research aims to analyze the political vocabulary from the advertising slogans of the major political parties. Vocabulary refers to the historical memory and national identity to attract citizens to the polls. This occurs in democratic systems that use symbolic language ability to continually revive the identity of citizens and promote the legitimacy of the political system. ; Esta investigación propone analizar el vocabulario político a partir de los slogans publicitarios de los partidos políticos mayoritarios. El vocabulario hace referencia a la memoria histórica y la identidad nacional para atraer a los ciudadanos a las urnas electorales. Esto ocurre en los sistemas democráticos que utilizan la capacidad simbólica del lenguaje para reactivar continuamente la identidad del ciudadano y favorecer la legitimidad del sistema político.
