NEW STEPS OF THE COUP: the framing of pension reform on Jornal Nacional ; Novos passos do Golpe: o enquadramento da reforma da Previdência no Jornal Nacional

Abstract

The objective of this article is to map and analyze the framing on Jornal Nacional, of Rede Globo Television, of the pension reform presented by President Michel Temer (MDB). Over the 49 years of its existence, JN has built a trajectory of interference in political issues and alignment with power groups. The study hypothesizes that the proposal, not debated with society, found traction on the television news, which propagated talk about the need to approve the reform. The study used content analysis as a methodology to identify the main framing marks in the reports. ; O artigo tem por objetivo mapear e analisar o enquadramento do Jornal Nacional, da Rede Globo de Televisão, sobre a reforma da Previdência apresentada pelo Presidente Michel Temer (MDB). Ao longo dos 49 anos de existência, o JN construiu uma trajetória de interferência em questões políticas e de alinhamento com grupos de poder. O estudo tem como hipótese que a proposta, não debatida com a sociedade, encontrou adesão no telejornal, que atuou como propagador do discurso da necessidade de aprovação da reforma. O estudo utilizou como metodologia a análise de conteúdo para identificar as principais marcas de enquadramento nas reportagens.
