Abstract
Subjecting Saccharomyces cerevisiae to sonic oscillations or to high pressures will cause cell rupture and loss of viability. The extent to which these techniques for rupturing cell walls could be applied to Saccharomyces cerevisiae was investigated. ; "Mound Laboratory operated by Monsanto Chemical Company, U.S. Government Contract number AT-33-1-GEN-53"--Cover. ; "Date: May 16, 1955." ; "MLM-1050 ; Category--Health and Biology ; TID-4500 (10th edition)." ; Includes bibliographical references (page 6). ; Subjecting Saccharomyces cerevisiae to sonic oscillations or to high pressures will cause cell rupture and loss of viability.
