Mapping of Resistance. Youth Collective Action and the Right to the City in Manizales, Colombia ; Mapeo de las resistencias. Acción colectiva juvenil y derecho a la ciudad en Manizales, Colombia

Abstract

Politics, understood as conflicting practices of institution of meaning that seek a desired order to "be together" is threatened by activities that break her antagonistic nature appealing to the order of consensus. The article presents the results of an investigation that sought to understand how social groups and networks operate that rise disagreements in Manizales, Colombia, to whom a characterization and mapping instrument was applied. From a cultural studies approach and participative methodologies, we conclude that collective action in the city is mainly organized by young people, who are articulated around multiple demands. While the practices of resistance lean towards the micropolitical, they also influence the macropolitical, and finally, important articulation spaces have emerged that could be enunciated as demands for the right to the city. ; La política, entendida como prácticas conflictivas de institución de sentido que buscan un orden deseado de «estar juntos», se ve amenazada por actividades que rompen con su naturaleza antagónica apelando al orden del consenso. El artículo expone los resultados de una investigación que busca comprender cómo operan los colectivos sociales y redes que plantean desacuerdos en Manizales, Colombia, a quienes se les aplicó una ficha de caracterización y mapeo. A partir de un enfoque de estudios culturales y metodologías participativas, se concluye que la acción colectiva en la ciudad es agenciada mayoritariamente por jóvenes que se articulan alrededor de múltiples demandas. Si bien las prácticas de resistencia se inclinan hacia lo micropolítico, también inciden en lo macropolítico y finalmente han emergido importantes espacios de articulación que se pueden enunciar como demandas por el derecho a la ciudad.
