La Era Consular Hispana y el final de la práctica epigráfica pagana ; The Consular Hispanic Age and the end of the pagan epigraphic practice

Abstract

Las inscripciones hispanas que emplean como sistema de datación la llamada era consular o la era hispana, son manifestaciones de un mismo fenómeno, relacionado probablemente con la inestabilidad política de occidente durante el reinado de Póstumo. La cronología que se desprende de estos textos muestra la existencia en Hispania de una epigrafía pagana hasta pleno siglo V d.C., y permite establecer algunas pautas para la datación de otros epígrafes. ; The hispanic inscriptions which use the so-called 'consular or hispanic era' as a dating system, are manifestations of a similar phenomenon probably related to the political inestability during the reign of Postumo. The chronology extracted from these texts proves the existence in Hispania of a kind of pagan inscriptions up to the V Century A.C. Thanks to this we can establish guidelines for dating other inscriptions.
