Abstract

El feminismo no es huérfano por tradición. Sus escritos y prácticas sociales, individuales y colectivas, se inscriben en un «pasado histórico», en un «presente contextual», inciden en la re-significación de la historia, conceptos y acontecimientos. El argumento misógino del no-saber de las mujeres, así como la supuesta inexistencia de voces de autoridad femeninas, se ven contestados mediante el pensamiento y las prácticas socioculturales de las mujeres. La revisión y catalogación de las fuentes históricas de acuerdo con las pautas teóricas y metodológicas derivadas de los Women's Studies, su reinterpretación, permiten constatar las huellas de un protagonismo femenino en los espacios públicos y privados vedado a la «razón masculina», insignificante para la «democracia excluyente», sesgado por el «pensamiento ilustrado». ; The feminism is not orphan for tradition.
