La geoestrategia española de los recursos naturales ; The Spanish geostrategy of natural resources

Abstract

Desde que abrimos el grifo del agua, repostamos un vehículo o nos alimentamos todo es geopolítica, porque tras estos y otros hábitos menos cotidianos subyacen las cadenas de suministro de unos recursos naturales que resultan indispensables para la prosperidad de España pero que a menudo se ven relegados de su pensamiento estratégico. El propósito de este trabajo es analizar cómo, pese a no contar con una estrategia codificada para abastecerse del conjunto de los recursos naturales que ésta precisa, el país ibérico está llevando a cabo constantes labores de inteligencia, misiones de estabilización militar, negociaciones diplomáticas y ofensivas comerciales por todo el mundo para garantizar el abastecimiento, la prosperidad y el desarrollo de la nación, de las que veremos algunos ejemplos. Todo ello, con el fin último de identificar aquellos espacios en los que residen los intereses nacionales en la materia así como los principios directores que rigen su geoestrategia ; Since we open the water tap, refuel a vehicle or fed ourselves everything is geopolitics, because behind these and other habits underlie the supply chains of different natural resources that are indispensable for the prosperity of Spain but are often relegated from their strategic thinking. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how, despite not having a coded strategy to supply the set of natural resources required, the Iberian country is carrying out constant intelligence tasks, military stabilization missions, diplomatic negotiations and commercial offensives around the world to ensure the supply, prosperity and development of the nation, of which we will see some examples. All this, with the aim of identifying those scenarios in which national interests reside as well as the guiding principles of its geostrategy
