Representaciones de la transición: el "Delincuente" en tres textos narrativos venezolanos (1968-1970) ; Representations of transition: the "Delinquent" in three venezuelan narrative texts (1968-1970)

Abstract

A partir de la representación del "delincuente", nuestro trabajo propone crear un diálogo entre texto literario y texto social, que permita establecer los modos como se produce una transición que abarca ambas espacios de la vida nacional, especí camente durante el periodo que va de  nales de los años sesenta a principio de los setenta. Para ello, partimos de las nociones delincuente político y delincuente común, planteadas por Carlos Villalba (1989) y de las propuestas teóricas acerca de políticas del cuerpo, de Michel Foucault (2002), y espacio de excepción, de Giorgio Agamben (2004); esto con el  n de determinar los signos a partir de los cuales se produce esta doble transición. Nuestra lectura se centra en tres de los textos más representativos del sistema literario de la década de los setenta: País portátil (1968), de Adriano González León; Cuando quiero llorar no lloro (1970), de Miguel Otero Silva y Rajatabla (1970), de Luis Britto García, como corpus desde donde se visibilizan los aspectos que caracterizan nuestro trabajo. ; Our point of departure is the "delinquent" and we propose to create a dialogue between the literary text and the social text which will allow us to establish how a transition arises, comprising both spaces of national life, with speci c reference to the period from the end of the sixties to the beginning of the seventies. To this end, we shall apply the notions of political delinquent and common delinquent developed by Carlos Villalba ( 1989 ), Michel Foucault's theories of the politics of the body ( 2002 ) and  nally Giorgio Agamben's theory of the state of exception (2004 ). Our aim in so doing is to identify the signs which lead to the creation of this double transition. Our reading focuses on three of the most representative literary texts of the seventies: País portátil (1968) by Adriano González León, Cuando quiero llorar no lloro ( 1970 ) by Miguel Otero Silva and Rajatabla ( 1970 ) by Luis Britto García.
