Dr. Naomi Oreskes on Why We Should Trust Science
Abstract
This week's guest is Dr. Naomi Oreskes, the Henry Charles Lea Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University. Naomi is an internationally renowned earth scientist, historian, and author on the history of earth and environmental science, including most recently, Why Trust Science? and Science on a Mission: How Military Funding Shaped What We Do and Don't Know about the Ocean. Dr. Oreskes will be engaging with the University of Montana community on February 17th as part of the Presidential Lecture Series.
