MÉXICO EN UN EVENTUAL ACUERDO DE LIBRE COMERCIO DE LAS AMÉRICAS: PERSPECTIVAS Y APROXIMACIÓN DESDE LA HISTORIA ACTUAL

Abstract

En el texto se analiza la posición del Gobierno de México respecto de una eventual conformación del Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas, más conocida como el ALCA. La aproximación del estudio se hace desde lo que se ha denominado "historia actual"; en este sentido el TLCAN se constituye en una herramienta metodológica importante al momento de realizar las prospecciones del tema en cuestión. Asimismo, son analizados los problemas que existen hoy en el TLCAN y que difícilmente se solucionarán con el ALCA. ; The present work analyzes the position of the Mexico Government to the possible conformation of the Free Trade Area in America, FTAA. The approach of the study becomes to the "present history"; so from the near and present history of the NAFTA, we do a prospecting of Mexico in the FTAA.
