Cenicientas desde el género ; Cinderellas from the point of view of gender

Abstract

En el presente ensayo nos proponemos abordar una adaptación del cuento infantil "Cenicienta" o "El zapatito de cristal" de Charles Perrault realizada por Lynda Taylor con el título: "Cenicienta: la feminista". A través de un recorrido analítico y de una mirada de Género, intentamos desentrañar la naturaleza política de un texto que, desde lo naif, contesta a la voz patriarcal del poder y a una tradición cuentística que ha marcado al género femenino de manera singular. También interroga sobre la eficacia de ciertos discursos sociales contemporáneos y nos invita –con cierta complicidad irónica- a mirar nuestras prácticas femeninas/feministas de otro modo. ; In the present essay we propose to approach Lynda Taylor's Cinderella: the feminist, an adaptation of Cinderella or The Crystal Shoe. Through a deep analysis and a Gender outlook we intend to disclose the political nature that responds, in a naif form, to a patriarchal voice of power and a tradition of storytelling for children that has singularly marked the feminine gender. It also questions the efficy of certain current social statements and invites us- not without a certain ironical complicity- to observe our own feminist feminine practices from another angle. ; Fil: Alonso, María Esther.
