Abstract

Speech given by Gen. Alvaro Obregón in a meeting of the Constitutionalist Party of Yucatán in Mérida: he explains that he is no longer on political tour, but he is there to get to know the political and social groups and to recommend them to respect the law, respect the rights of others, and that for no reason should the government consider the authorities to be a political group. He promises, as a citizen, to respect the free exercise of the rights to all Mexicans. September 6, 1920. File DS-6 / Discurso pronunciado por el Gral.
