El concepto de política en personeros estudiantiles de colegios oficiales de Villavicencio (Colombia) ; The Concept of Politic in Student's Representatives of Official Schools in Villavicencio (Colombia)

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados referidos al concepto de política, lascaracterísticas atribuidas a esta categoría y el conocimiento de lasfunciones o rol de la política en personeros estudiantiles. Estos hacenparte de los hallazgos obtenidos en la investigación "Cognicionessociales de la política en personeros estudiantiles de colegios oficialesde Villavicencio". El estudio, en el que participaron estudiantesde bachillerato elegidos como personeros de catorce institucioneseducativas públicas de esta ciudad, se realizó bajo una metodologíacualitativa. Se utilizaron entrevistas en profundidad y grupos focales. Delanálisis de contenido se infiere que emergen diversas concepciones de lapolítica, algunas relacionadas con su ejercicio o con la participación. Ladirigencia política o la administración de un país, a su vez, la encuentrandada a partir de una serie de normas y leyes, pero caracterizada por lacentralización y mantenimiento del poder, la corrupción, el beneficiopersonal y la desigualdad social. ; We present the results related to the concept of politics, the characteristicsattributed to this category and knowledge of the functions or role ofpolitics in students' representatives. These are among the findings fromthe research "Social cognitions of politics in student representatives ofofficial schools in Villavicencio". The study, which involved high schoolstudents chosen as representatives of 14 public educational institutionsof this city, was conducted under a qualitative methodology, usinginterviews and focus groups. Based on an analysis of contents, it can beinferred that different conceptions of politics emerge, some related tothe exercise or participation, the political leadership or the administrationof a country, in turn, are originated from one set of rules and laws, butcharacterized by centralization and maintenance of power, corruption,personal profit and social inequality.
