Abstract

Based on two cases studies, the 1996 «Pueblada» and the 1993 «Santiagazo», this paper examines the means and meanings of protest in contemporary Argentina. It pays particular attention to the «moral politics» of protesters as well as to their links with conventional ways of doing politics. ; Basado en dos estudios de caso, la «Pueblada» de 1996 y el «Santiagazo» de 1993, este trabajo examina las formas y los sentidos de la protesta en la Argentina contemporánea. Presta particular atención a la «política moral» de los manifestantes y a sus vínculos con formas convencionales de hacer política.
