El Lanús : Memoria, política y psicoanálisis en la Argentina (1956-1992)

Abstract

En este trabajo son estudiados los procesos de construcción de la memoria social en la Argentina, y las relaciones entre memorias políticas y memorias profesionales. El objeto empírico son los relatos sobre el pasado del más célebre servicio de salud mental de la Argentina, conocido como el Lanús (en las afueras de la ciudad de Buenos Aires). El propósito consiste en mostrar cómo las experiencias y relatos de los profesionales que trabajaron en el servicio están moldeados por las experiencias de los acontecimientos políticos nacionales entre 1956-1992; cómo la traumática experiencia de la última dictadura militar (1976-1983) ha servido para reorganizar todas las interpretaciones sobre el pasado; y, finalmente, cómo la memoria sobre el pasado del Lanús ha sido, al mismo tiempo, una reflexión sobre la Argentina. In this work are studied the processes of construction of the social memory in the Argentina, and the relationships between political and professional memory. The stories on the past of the most famous service in mental health of the Argentina, well-known as the Lanús (in the outskirts of the city of Buenos Aires) is the empirical object. The purpose consists on showing how the experiences and the professionals' stories who worked in the service are modeled by the experiences of the national political events between 1956-1992; how the traumatic experience of the last military dictatorship (1976-1983) has been good to reorganize all the interpretations on the past; and, finally, how the memory on the past of the Lanús has been, at the same time, a reflection on the Argentina.
