Analisis Political Commitment Jokowi dalam Implementasikan "Revolusi Mental" dan "Nawa Cita" untuk menciptakan power politic di ASEAN

Abstract

The 6th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo has a great idea in building a nation with "Mental Revolution". Mental revolution is how to create the human with integrity, hard work and a spirit of mutual cooperation. Mental revolution embodied by nine Jokowi's priority program "nawa cita" that initiated to show the priority of way to changes Indonesiatowards politically sovereign, self-reliant in the economic field, culture, law enforcement, security for all citizens and the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. The president's political commitment to implement the idea of a "mental revolution" and "nawa cita" was still weak. Thus evidenced by some form of slow implementation of the program in development, weaknessof law, slow eradication of corruption and drug dealers, Indonesian economy who still weak, unemployment and poverty, susceptibility of kidnapping of citizens in the border area. This commitment will affect the political power or soft power in international relations within ASEAN. Weak political Jokowi Commitment to the implementation of "mental revolution" and "nawa cita" also have an impact on the weakness of the political power of Indonesia in ASEAN.
