Abstract

Статтю присвячено висвітленню проблематики ідентичності у постмодерністських текстах. Схарактеризовано філософське підґрунтя й методологічний базис постмодернізму як світоглядного напряму та його вплив на параметри мовного відображення ідентичності особи. Проаналізовано підходи до вивчення ідентичності як соціокультурного феномену й текстового конструкту, з'ясовано особливості вербалізації різних аспектів самототожності індивіда у їхній множинності й цілісності. ; Статья посвящена представлению проблематики идентичности в постмодернистских текстах. Охарактеризованы философские основы и методологический базис постмодернизма как направления мировоззрения и его влияние на параметры языкового отображения идентичности личности. Проанализировано подходы к изучению идентичности как социокультурного феномена и текстового конструкта, установлены особенности вербализации различных аспектов самотождества индивида в их множественности и целостности. ; The study of gender identity used to have different biases in every historical period in varied political, social and cultural discourses. The present paper considers identity understanding and verbal means of its presentation in the texts of postmodernist period.Semantics of identity depends on the approach of its investigation, therefore scholars deal with such varieties as anthroponymic, communicative, cultural, linguocultural, ethnic, national, social, gender etc. identities. Postmodernism as a theoretical and methodological basis of treating reality has penetrated into linguistic interpretation of language facts. Postmodernist identity is a multifaceted entity possessing a complex and coherent structure. Postmodernism promotes novel principles of a person's depicting in a text breaking the stereotypes and introducing new parameters of a human being description in a text. Such identity components as sex, gender, sexuality, formerly forbidden by social values and morals, appear in broad societal spheres and start being verbalized as inherent thus proper characteristics. The phenomenon known as 'coming-out' liberated numerous varieties of new identities.In a postmodernist text, identity is examined from such its aspects as sex, psychology, appearance, profession, social and matrimonial status, age, education, sexuality, communicativeness, race, nationality and many others. Its contents comprises both stereotypical and new ethical and moral systems. Postmodernist texts reproduce such identity images where our coevals are easily recognized.
