ПОЛОНІЗМИ В КРЕМЕНЕЦЬКІЙ ЗЕМСЬКІЙ КНИЗІ 1578 РОКУ ; Polonisms in the «Kremenets Territorial Book of 1578 year»

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано функціонування полонізмів у «Кременецькій земській книзі 1578 року», зокрема встановлено наповненість тематичних груп, описано лексико-семантичні особливості, фонетико-графічні варіанти. Простежено еволюцію виявленої лексики польського походження в українській мові. ; The subject of the article's description is polonisms in the Kremenets Territorial Book of 1578 year, which was recently published. The book is written in the old Ukrainian clerical language of that time.The analyzed names are divided into thematic groups. Most of the items of Polish origin is in the groups naming people by vocation (de(r)zha(v)ca, podstarostyy) and social status (pan, shlyahtych, mischanyn), law terms (vyroku) etc.A number of words wass an integral part of the business style (zletsyl, vladzy), some of which were registered in the clerical patterns (vlostnoyu rukoyu, renka vlasna, zavytyy rok, dosyt uchynyty), the names of the holidays (Тreh Kroley, sviatoho Myhaila), used as a court term for performing.The polonisms, used with specific doublets (malzhonok – muzh, krolevskoy – korolevskoy, chotyrydesyat – sorok, krevnyy – krovnyy) or forming synonymic relations with words borrowed from other languages (martsa – marta, vo chlonkoh – vo artyculah), are attested.The function words of Polish origin (volde, lech, kolviek), which were probably copied according to the Polish pattern of writing such documents, are quite common.Lack of proper codification, dependence from the text form, language interference processes caused by Polish-Ukrainian bilingualism, explain significant variability of the attested words at different levels: vlastnyy – vlasnyy, vlostnost – vlastnost / vlasnost, krolevskaya – korolevskaya, renkoyu – rukoyu etc.Despite the fact that the text was created during the period when the Polish language just began to actively penetrate into all areas of Ukrainian political and social life, a considerable number of multi-thematic polonisms function in the document under study. Comparison with other documents of later times and different territories showed that although the words of Polish origin in the record are widely represented, but the frequency of their use is lower than in the documents written in the seventeenth century.
