Abstract

Currently, a lot of problems could be seen in Lithuania's university education system. It was aimed to reform quite a few times, but, according to the state control auditors, ".Until now, there are no optimal net nor infrastructure of secondary schools, colleges and universities, they are underfunded, there is a lack of efforts to improve the quality of teaching". According to the state control's guidelines for the reform, given to Government, Ministry of Education and Science, we recognize that even if the reforms are implemented, they would not touch the 'inside' of schools or universities, i.e. would not influence the optimisation of studies program and development of mobility of students and lectureres. In order to analyze this issue there are distinguish these work objectives and tasks: The object. Lithuanian and foreign universities management bachelor degree programs. Work objectives. Optimize the business management degree programs and remove student and teacher mobility problems. In order to achieve the objective there are the following tasks: • Evaluate existing study programs • Analyze the introduction of the study program educational system phases. • Exclude the opinions of the authors about optimization of study programs. • To establish the optimal management bachelor degree program.• To do the student and teacher survey • Create a model for the study optimization. The metodology of programs' development in Lithuania and other EU countires will be analised in this work, along with implementation procedure of education programs. Advantages and disadvantages of existing study programs are studied. The analysis of the current situation and theoretical material let us to create the optimal business management full-time undergraduate program. The whole survey methodology is represented at the second part of the work. The necessity of study programs' optimization is proposed by the author. Subject matter is defined, along with type of interview to be used, what question to be answered in this study, addressed some issues of questionnaire, purpose and format of questions, expected results, determined methods of survey data collection and arising challenges. An analysis of survey results are provided at the third part. Questions and responses are grouped specifically to provide more and better varied information. This section has three main segments. The first segment describes respondents of the survey, their age, education, scientific expertise, areas of activity. In the second segment it is determined whether the optimization of study programs is necessary and appropriate. Areas are pointed out, where the optimisation is especially necessary. The consequences of unoptimal programs are examined. The third segment tries to answer the main question of this study, to find the best ways for programs' optimization. Respondents were asked for their opinion about techniques of program optimization. These results were compared with this study hypotheses. Summarized theoretical and practical results provide a theoretical model, suitable as a scheme for optimization of other educational programs.There are 14 tables and 26 pictures at graduation paper
