Abstract
The research is caused by the need to clarify the psychological and aesthetic foundations of representation of the image of a female actress on the espionage and terrorist scene. The aim is to identify the influence of theater itself, theater of terror and theater of spies (so-called «triple T») on the personality of the main heroine of John Le Carré's novel «The Little Drummer Girl». A gender approach and a cultural-historical method have been used to achieve the aim. The theoretical basis of the study includes works of scholars from different eras and fields of knowledge, namely philosophers, teachers, psychologists, and political scientists. As a result, we have revealed the similarities between acting, espionage and terrorist goals, activities and inner experiences. After a series of events in a plot of the novel «The Little Drummer Girl», the main heroine renounces her long-term belonging to «the triple T», as they are extremely destructive.
