Abstract
AbstractThis is a reply to Jon Fox's and Michael Skey's comments to my article 'Who's afraid of Banal Nationalism?'. I try to clarify the main implications of the paper, namely, that following Billig, I think it has become of foremost importance to explore what people cannot do or think because of nationalism. It has become vital, in order to renew political imagination among citizens and scholars.
