Heritage and Heritors: to the 170th Anniversary of Vladimir Sergeevich Solovyov's Birth

Abstract

The issues of modern Russian Solovyov's studies are considered. The article analyzes the successes and causes of failures in the implementation of the most important scientific and cultural projects related to the preservation and research of the philosophical, literary and journalistic heritage of V.S. Solovyov. The reasons arousing mistrust of religious and philosophical thought and their influence on the reception of V.S. Solovyov's legacy are revealed. The idea of the importance of an adequate approach to the study of V.S. Solovyov's religious philosophy is emphasized. The characteristic of the Solovyov anniversary events held at the Ivanovo State Energy University is given. One of the main tasks of the "Solovyov Studies" journal and the Solovyov seminar activities is defined as the cultivation of sensitivity and responsiveness to philosophical and religious thought.
