Abstract

Dealing with unlawful behaviours enables to study, from a particular point of view, the problems related to the formation of identity. This article presents the way E. De Greeff, the Belgian psychiatrist and criminologist, dealt with the question through his clinical practice. His perspective enables to show the links between identity and temporality and how the formation of identity is closely related with the choice of a set of values.
