Abstract

One of research units of the french Institut National de Recherche Pédagogique in described. It deals with educational uses of television, informatics, telematics. The three media are examined from different points of view. The first one is sociologial: representations and attitudes in youngsters and children are observed, inside and outside of school. The second one has a pedagical bent: writing educational software and computer users manuals. The third one is hardware oriented: designing and developping prototypes and computer interfaces which can meet educational needs.
