Abstract
The dynamics of populism and institutional crystallization.
During the Diori Hamani period, a populist approach centared around the notion of «popular participation in dsevelopment» featured at the cors of the politics of government. Such an approach has been retained by the military regime which refers to the theme of a «société de développement». The article presents the evolution of this process and points to its contradictions.
