Interventionism, but of what kind?

Abstract

The essay is an introduction to the discussion on the role of interventionism in the modern global
economy. According to the author, the policies of individual states and economic groups should use the
market mechanism where it works effectively but eliminate its negative effects. On a macroeconomic
scale, policy should be conducive to development.
