Indifference as a Curable Evil. Towards a Common Path for the Protection of Children in the Face of Media-Terrorism

Abstract
The article focuses on an issue that has remained in the shadows of thepublic debate on the war between Russia and Ukraine, i.e., the relationshipbetween media narratives and the children and adolescents directlyor indirectly involved in the conflict. Whether through direct on-thegroundexperience or media exposure to unprecedented horror, childrenare the silent victims. The thesis is that with regard to minors, media practitionersat all levels should become aware of child protection regulationsand their communication responsibilities, which necessarily implies theassimilation of the ethical dimensions a daily practice. In this way, themedia could fully exercise their mission as Social Action Societies, guidednot only by profit but fully embedded within a true "moral economy".
