In diesem Band werden Zusammenhänge zwischen Bildung, Macht und Ökonomie aus einer geschlechtertheoretischen Perspektive erörtert und problematisiert. Angesichts des zu beobachtenden Systemwechsels in Politik, Wissenschaft, Kultur und Sozialem wird dieses Themenfeld in verschiedenen Beiträgen unter neuen theoretischen Gesichtspunkten diskutiert. Der Band enthält erziehungs- und bildungsphilosophische Beiträge sowie historische und soziologische Untersuchungen, die systematisch eine oder mehrere Facetten dieser Zusammenhänge aus einer geschlechtertheoretischen Perspektive betrachten.
