Abstract
In order to procure modern constitutions permanence and validity, it must be made visible. They require the accumulation of symbolic capital. Symbol of political effort and political power return are thereby in a complicated, not proportional comparison. The paper examines changes and significance of representation and celebration of constitutions in modern times in different systems, and operates in particular the importance of symbolic politics fights out. It turns out that in the constitutional history, an analysis of symbolic forms without a study of institutional structures and manages power resources, which in turn are based in part on symbolic capital, but not reducible to it. In this respect a constitution reflected cultural history should be applied integrative. Adapted from the source document.
