Abstract

How can integration of immigrants be locally successful? How can a town district with a high number of immigrants achieve social stability? What can communities do to contribute to social and area integration of immigrants? These questions were at the center of the Congress "Immigrant in the Town- Perspectives of Social Area Integration" that took place at Nurenberg from 28 - 29 September 2006.
