DETERMINIST THEORIES IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
In: International relations: the journal of the David Davies Memorial Institute of International Studies, Band 1, Heft 6, S. 251-258
Abstract
One of the factors which might be taken into account in studying some aspects of modern innernat relations is the influence that certain determinist theories have had on national politics. The explanation for such influence as exists lies (1) in the claim of the determinist theories to be sci'fic & rational, & (2), in their confident claim to predict the future course of history. Much work has still to be done to establish a clear connection between determinist theories & policy, & the idea is merely put forward as a provisional hypo. IPSA.
