Abstract

Considers what might be expected in US-Russian relations following US President Barack Obama & Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's April 2009 meeting, admonishing against high expectations for any "reset." US policy toward in the wake of the Soviet collapse is reviewed, focusing on George H. W. Bush's & Bill Clinton's approaches.
