Abstract
The new 'democracy producing culture' in some recent theories, treats the 'religious revival' as being necessarily anti-democratic, contrary to the requirements of democracy, and therefore, conservative. Such an analysis suffers from a lack of rigour in the logics of cultures and an amazing omission of the logics of strategies. (SJK)
