Abstract

It is likely that most people who have read & learned about Dag Hammarskold are familiar with his interest in nature. When & how this interest -- not to say love -- arose & how it was nurtured is less known. This short essay aims to throw some light on this matter, although, of course, with no illusion or pretension to give an exhaustive description & interpretation of this significant feature of Hammarskold' s rich personality.
