Abstract

Examines how the Canadian federal & Quebec citizenship policies are set forth & how citizenship is debated, arguing that their policies contradict each other. Current citizenship initiatives in the federal & Quebec governments are detailed before addressing the emergence of the debate, focusing on the Forum national sur la citoyennete et l'integration.
