Abstract

Based on data obtained from about 200 US and Japanese firms, new evidence is provided on the rates at which the use of industrial robots has and will spread in both countries. Development of a model of the initiation process (the interfirm diffusion process) and consideration of the intrafirm diffusion process. (EVD)
