A Review of the Implementation Status of and National Plans on HPV Vaccination in 17 Middle-Income Countries of the WHO Western Pacific Region
The World Health Organization's Western Pacific Region is responsible for one-fourth of the global cervical cancer burden, and nearly 90% of that burden is concentrated in middle-income countries (MICs). Applying a conceptual model of implementation of population-based interventions, we synthesized the current implementation status of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and national plans that form the basis of its implementation in 17 MICs. We gathered information from a range of governmental documents, published studies, and global databases. For all available national cancer-related plans and immunization plans, we examined the description of HPV vaccination. We found that, as of July 2021, only four countries (24%) had a mature HPV vaccination program with a high first-dose coverage ; three (18%) had introduced HPV vaccination, but needed further efforts to scale it up, seven (41%) had not been able to introduce it after conducting demonstration projects, and three (18%) did not have any experience in HPV vaccination. In the national plans, most of the countries recognized the importance of HPV vaccination, but only 10 (59%) provided an implementation strategy on how it would be introduced or scaled up. Countries with a mature program were more likely to have their implementation strategy detailed in their national cancer control plan. Successful implementation of HPV vaccination requires overcoming known challenges and having a clear national plan. Positioning HPV vaccination clearly in the overall national cancer control plan may be key to accelerating its nationwide implementation.

O Direito Ambiental Internacional: um olhar da Ciência Pós-Normal
In: Revista eletrônica direito e sociedade: REDES, Band 5, Heft 2, S. 11
ISSN: 2318-8081

Environmental conflicts in the microrregião de Viçosa-MG: the conflict between environmental legislation and farm workers and the excess of the penalty on small cases of violations of environmental legislation ; Conflitos ambientais na microrregião de Viçosa-MG: O conflito entre a legislação ambient...
The research presented in this article aims to identify and to analyze the cases of environmental conflicts in the microrregião de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brasil. For this were performed data surveys were conducted in the archives of the Ministério Público regarding the municipalities of microrregião in study and a workshop with various social movements of the mesorregião da Zona da Mata. From this survey on we check the conflict established between environmental legislation and farm workers, and also the concentration of the penalty on small cases of violations of environmental legislation. Thus, we conclude that to think about environmental conflicts is require the recognition of inequalities of power and the different types of knowledge and rationalities involved in the appropriation of natural resources by society.

Relationships of personality and lifestyle with mobile phone dependence among female nursing students
In: Social behavior and personality: an international journal, Band 37, Heft 2, S. 231-238
ISSN: 1179-6391
To clarify the relationships of personality and lifestyle with mobile phone dependence, defined as an intermittent craving to use a mobile phone or excessive mobile phone use, we administered a self-report questionnaire to 132 female college students attending a nursing school in Osaka,
Japan. Results of multiple regression analysis indicated that scores for extroversion and neuroticism were positively related to the score of the Mobile Phone Dependence Questionnaire (MPDQ; Toda, Monden, Kubo, & Morimoto, 2004), while the score for healthy practices was negatively related
to that of the MPDQ. These findings suggest that mobile phone dependence in female college students is associated with elevated traits of extroversion and neuroticism, as well as an unhealthy lifestyle.

Responses to language endangerment: in honor of Mickey Noonan : new directions in language documentation and language revitalization
In: Studies in language companion series, volume 142
This volume further complicates and advances the contemporary perspective on language endangerment by examining the outcomes of the most commonly cited responses to language endangerment, i.e. language documentation, language revitalization, and training. The present collection takes stock of many complex and pressing issues, such as the assessment of the degree of language endangerment, the contribution of linguistic scholarship to language revitalization programs, the creation of successful language reclamation programs, the emergence of languages that arise as a result of revitalization efforts after interrupted transmission, the ethics of fieldwork, and the training of field linguists and language educators. The volume's case studies provide detailed personal accounts of fieldworkers and language activists who are grappling with issues of language documentation and revitalization in the concrete physical and socio-cultural settings of native speaker communities in different regions of the world.
Sandwich-type zeolite intergrowths with MFI and the novel extra-large pore IDM-1 as ordered end-members
Stacking faults are two-dimensional planar defects frequently arising in zeolites, modifying their properties and potentially affecting their performance in catalysis and separation applications. In classical zeolite intergrowths, a topologically unique zeolite layer may often pile up after some spatial transformation (lateral translation, rotation, and/or reflection) that may occur in different amounts or directions with about similar probabilities, leading to a difficult to control disorder. Here, we present a new kind of zeolite intergrowth that requires an additional topologically distinct layer rather than a spatial transformation of a unique one. Stacking of the so-called pentasil layers produces the well-known medium pore zeolite MFI. Intercalation in strict alternation of a topologically distinct second layer sandwiched between pentasil layers expands the structure to produce the new extra-large pore IDM-1. Stacking disorder modulates the structural expansion along the stacking direction. The disordered materials have been studied by simulation of the X-ray diffraction patterns using the program DIFFaX and by Cs-corrected highresolution electron microscopy. We show that disorder does not occur at random but in extended domains and can be controlled all the way from MFI to IDM-1 by just varying the concentration of the synthesis mixture. ; The authors thank funding from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, under Projects MAT2015-71117-R (MINECO/FEDER, UE), PID2019-105479RB-I00 and RTI2018-101599-B-C22 (MCUI/AEI/FEDER, UE), the Swedish Research Council (VR), and the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW).
