Onder invloed van een aantal factoren van politiek-institutionele en van sociaal-culturele aard vloeien vele voordelen van het sociaal beleid, verhoudingsgewijze en tendentieel, meer naar de hogere sociale categorieën dan naar de lagere (Matteüseffect). Dit wordt empirisch aangetoond voor België (1976 en 1979) enerzijds voor de vervangingsuitkeringen van de sociale zekerheid, anderzijds voor de onderwijsuitgaven, kinderbijslagen, gezondheidszorgen, huisvesting en culturele infrastructuur. In het raam van de verzorgingsstaat is het volume sociale overheidsuitgaven enorm toegenomen, maar dit moet veeleer opgevat worden als een anders gestructureerde verdeling van de toegenomen welvaart dan als een herverdeling. De moderne armoede is het problematisch aspect van de ongelijke inkomensverdeling alsmede van de ongelijke deelname aan sociale goederen en diensten.

Impact of social commerce constructs and social support on social commerce intentions

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of social commerce constructs (SCCs), social support and relationship quality on social commerce intentions, which lead to use behaviour of social networking sites for social commerce.Design/methodology/approachData were collected from 343 users of social networking sites in Pakistan. The data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM.FindingsThe results show that SCCs have empowered consumers through the existence of virtual groups, ratings and reviews and recommendations and referrals, thereby having a significant impact on social commerce intentions. The relationship quality with social networking sites, measured through commitment, satisfaction and trust, also proved to be a leading forecaster of social commerce intentions. The impact of social support could not positively influence the relationship quality with the social networking site. However, social support influences the social commerce intentions significantly.Research limitations/implicationsFuture research should enrich model with some moderating variables and data may be collected from actual online shoppers only.Practical implicationsThis study provides valuable insights to retailers to formulate their social commerce strategies as per decision factors results to have maximum engagement of consumers in social commerce.Originality/valueThe study proposes the unique model for finding the social commerce intentions and use behaviour using social support theory, relationship marketing theory and information systems literature.

Introducción: El campo de las urgencias y las emergencias sociales es uno de los considerados destacados por la disciplina de Trabajo Social. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo esclarecer el significado y utilización otorgados desde los servicios sociales a los términos urgencia y emergencia, tanto desde el punto de vista legislativo, como desde la visión de los/as trabajadores/as sociales que intervienen en estas situaciones, recogiendo además propuestas de mejora a nivel formativo.
Material y métodos: Mediante una metodología cualitativa, se ha procedido al análisis de contenido de las leyes de Servicios Sociales de Aragón, Cataluña y Comunidad de Madrid, al tratarse de CCAA donde se han realizado importantes actuaciones en este ámbito en los últimos años. Además, se han realizado un total de siete entrevistas a trabajadores/as sociales de estas CCAA, con una larga trayectoria en este ámbito.
Resultados: Se aprecian diferentes matices en los conceptos de urgencia y emergencia en la legislación de las tres CCAA analizadas, con las consecuentes diferencias en las intervenciones consideradas dentro de cada término. Por su parte, el discurso de los/as profesionales muestra más coincidencias, señalando la importante labor de los trabajadores sociales en este ámbito.
Discusión: Se constata la indefinición y ambigüedad de los términos urgencia y emergencia social, la necesidad de esclarecer sus definiciones, así como la falta de formación específica en estas materias en los itinerarios académicos oficiales de Trabajo Social.
