In the last years, Romania has made major efforts to develop the skiing areas and some important projects have been implemented in the Carpathian Mountains. This research highlights the low efficiency of ski slopes and ski areas concerning the functionality during the winter season, even though a number of investments have been made. Some examples of bad practices regarding the development of skiing infrastructure in link with the potential impact on the environment are presented. The status of ski slopes, slope conditions, and snow depth were collected daily, during the 2016–2017 and 2017–2018 winter seasons, from a Romanian website specialized in snow cover information. A statistical analysis based on the collected data has been done. The 225 ski slopes studied have been opened, on average, less than 62 days and more than 20% of them have not even been opened. Only 17.8% of the slopes complied with the "100-day rule" during the first season and 21.3% of them during the second one, which does not ensure profitability. In conclusion, too many ski slopes have been created without considering the actual snow conditions. The investors wasted capital that is unprofitable and needlessly, affecting the environmental sustainability.

The trash problem that is currently happening certainly requires special handling by both the government and the community. If the trash management is not in accordance with the methods and techniques of trash management that are environmentally sound, it is feared that it will get negative impacts such as a decrease in the quality of the environment which will also have an impact on public health. The purpose of this study was to determine how to identify trash management problems in Napa Village, Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency and to find out how the concept of trash management in Napa Village, Mawasngka District, Central Buton Regency. This type of research is empirical juridical research. The results showed the identification of trash management problems in Napa Village including identification of trash problems in Napa Village, concept of 3 (three) R trash and trash processing methods in Napa Village. The concept of regulating trash management in Napa Village, namely analysis of laws and regulations on trash, philosophical studies of trash in Napa Village, juridical studies of trash in Napa Village, sociological studies of trash in Napa Village, study of direction and scope of trash management arrangements in Napa Village , Academic Manuscripts of Village Regulations on Trash Management in Napa Village and Draft Village Regulations on Trash Management in Napa Village.

A successful transition of the Seychelles' energy system towards 100% renewables by 2035 will require a substantial mobilization of private capital. This article assesses the potential of the Seychelles Pension Fund (SPF) to cover the required energy infrastructure investments. It reveals that SPF's existing institutional set-up and operational structure could mobilize up to USD 60 million of cumulated capital volume for the energy transition by 2030. Under consideration of adjusted contribution rates or benefit payments that would stabilize SPF's operation in the long term, up to USD 170 million could be allocated. This would equalize more than 40% of the total energy transition investments. A qualitative discussion of related impacts suggests that such SPF investments could address potential conflicts around the energy transition through enabling economic participation and democratization of infrastructure assets. While stable and attractive revenues could reduce investment risks, protect national energy infrastructure and sustain SPF's operation, a diversification of current real estate investments might also create distributional drawbacks. As precondition for enhanced SPF engagement, the Fund's operational staff requires more capacity and the Government has to provide a comprehensive enabling environment before substantial investment decisions can be taken.

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the values of character education contained, (2) describe the values of character education that often appear in, (3) describe character education values which rarely appears, and (4) describes the values of character education that are not in the short stories of the Singgalang Daily newspaper. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in the short story of the Singgalang Daily newspaper were found. First, the short stories contained in the Singgalang Daily newspaper contain eighteen values of character education, namely the value of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, independent, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country , appreciates achievement, is friendly/communicative, loves peace, likes to read, cares about the environment, cares for the social, and takes responsibility. Second, the value of character education that often arises is the value of friendly/ communicative character education. Third, character education values that rarely emerge are the spirit of nationalism, love of peace, and love to read. Kata kunci: nilai, pendidikan karakter, cerpen, koran, Harian Singgalang

Его книга «Метод театра», посвященная Евреинову, вызвала взрыв ревнивых чувств Мейерхольда и стала причиной разрыва отношений. Этот конфликт сделал невозможным написание монографии о Мейерхольде, заду- манной Казанским. Но и с Евре- иновым отношения иссякли уже на политической почве. Письма содержат острые характеристики ленинградских премьер, мейерхоль- довского «Ревизора» и наблюдения над ленинградской театральной и научной средой. ; Boris Kazansky is an academic scientist with a wide range of interests: from history of ancient poetics to cinema and Pushkin's biography. Interest in modern theater was largely due to a close acquaintance with the eternal antagonists in art — Vsevolod Meyerhold and Nikolay Evreinov. His book The Theater Method, dedicated to Evreinov, caused an explosion of jealous feelings of Meyerhold and caused a break in relations. This conflict made it impossible to write a monograph on Meyerhold, conceived by Kazansky. But relations with Evreinov also dried up on political grounds. The letters contain sharp characteristics of the premieres, Meyerhold's Inspector General and observations of the Leningrad theatrical and scientific environment.

The purpose of this study is to explain the proper meaning and description of Corporate Social Responsibility and its development in India and study the theoretical aspects. We will delve into the modern tendency in the country regarding CSR and its proceeding and global implication. This research is on the different leather-based industries which are on the large and small scale of leather-based industries and also discuss their strategies regarding CSR and what is missing in performing their activities. ABSTRACT The intent of this article aims arrangement of disposal cases of waste dumping hazardous and toxic substances (B3) without permission can pollution in environmental media. Unlicensed waste disposal often occurs due to one of them due to increasing industrial activity, giving the intention of the perpetrator to deliberately dispose of waste to the environmental media due to the amount of waste that a lot so it requires cost for processing. This is contrary to the provisions of Article 59 Act No. 32 year 2009 on protection and environmental management with the regulation of the implementation of government regulation number 101 of 2014 about waste management of hazardous and toxic materials and will be subject to criminal sanctions against the perpetrators to provide a deterrent effect. This research uses normative legal research ordinances with an invitation approach as well as research into related documents. The study showed that criminal liability of the perpetrators of dumping waste (B3) without permission is closely related to the element of error because a person cannot be sentenced when there is no fault factor whether it is intentional or misshapness. orest ecosystem services (ES) valuation research has increased exponentially in recent years, and scholars accept that such research could be useful in reshaping governments' policies. Despite such scholarly efforts, the research outcomes have had limited application in actual policies and plans. This study explores reasons why ES valuation research recommendations are not reflected in policy processes and proposes a research framework which, when appropriately applied, would lead to the adoption of research findings. Literature review, semi-structured expert interviews (N = 29), and a workshop (N = 2), were used to achieve these objectives. Experts expressed that limited stakeholder engagement is the key factor hindering incorporation of ES research outcomes in policies and plans. We developed a framework that comprises four major components (inputs, actors, outcomes, impacts) and sets out the seven major steps involved in implementing this framework. Effective engagement of relevant stakeholders in each step is critical to integrate the ES research outcomes in policy and plans although this will demand a lengthy timeframe and a high investment requirement. Such engagement would create an environment of trust that enhances the acceptability of research outcomes among stakeholders. The acceptability of the research outcomes can increase ownership leading to more informed decision making, and ultimately yield desired outcomes in ES conservation.

These issues have generated legislative changes at the level of the European Union (EU) and its Member States. For this reason, it is relevant that the researchers know how to protect their work and the proper use of another's work. Consequently, this research aims to identify the limitations of copyright in the EU and as a specific case in Spain, within the framework of scientific research. For this, the changes in the European and Spanish copyright regulations are analyzed. The results confirm new exceptions and limitations for researchers related to technological evolution, such as data mining. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Dissertation ist die Frage nach der Anerkennung ökologischer Menschenrechte auf verschiedenen Rechtsebenen. Dabei wird die Entwicklung der ökologischen Menschenrechte herausgearbeitet und ihre Wirkungen auf internationaler, regionaler und staatlicher Ebene untersucht. Dazu wird die gegenwärtige Rechtslage der ökologischen Menschenrechte im Europa- und Völkerrecht dargestellt und bewertet. Teil der Aufgabenstellung der Arbeit ist auch die Idee einer ökologischen Gerechtigkeit, anhand derer unterschiedliche Problemfelder wie Armut und ökologische Rechtsstaatlichkeit beleuchtet werden. Das Ziel der Arbeit besteht damit in einer rechtsdogmatischen und rechtspolitischen Begründung ökologischer Menschenrechte im internationalen sowie im regionalen Recht. Mithilfe der rechtsvergleichenden Methodik soll eine wirksame Problemlösungsfindung aufgezeigt werden, welche dazu beitragen kann, eine menschenwürdige Umwelt in der ganzen Welt zu sichern. ; The main aim of this dissertation is to understand how environmental human rights are recognized at different legal levels. It maps out the trajectory of development of environmental human rights and examines its impact at the international, regional and state level. In view of that objective, the current legal situation of environmental human rights in European and International Law is presented and evaluated. The dissertation also aims at examining the idea of environmental justice and its intersection with other social and legal aspects like poverty and the environmental rule of law. The findings, therefore, serve to present a legal dogma and provide a legal policy framework for environmental human rights in international and regional law. The legal comparative methodology used in the analysis intends to present an effective problem-solving model, that may create a decent environment around the world.

Exclusion and inclusion in the culturally, economically, and politically deter- mined educational space are one aspect of social life and its many micro-, meso-, eco-, macro-, and chronosystems. This issue is often addressed from theoretical, cognitive, practical, and research angles, which is reflected in scholarly and popular-science pub- lications as well as literary fiction. It is not bound to any particular time or place and it is relevant at all stages of a person's life, from conception to death. It can therefore be assumed that, to a greater or lesser extent, it governs the integral, holistic develop- ment of a human being, and, by the same token, the development of civilization. Moreover, one could argue that as the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual (religious) exclusion of the human being is more and more mitigated by his/ her participation in creating a living environment in the local, regional, national, and international spaces, we can observe an increasingly higher quality of the functioning of education systems. This is particularly a challenge for schools, which perform the basic functions—educational and preventative, didactic and protective—as defined by the educational law in Poland.

Energy Communities (ECs) are gaining a key role in supporting the transition towards a low carbon economy in EU, since they combine the promotion of efficient energy practices with an expected positive social impact. Legislators are resorting to the concept of collective self-consumption as a tool to favor the electrification of energy needs and the diffusion of renewable energy sources. This work presents the first results in this field of the ENERGYNIUS project, co-funded by Regione Emilia-Romagna, focusing on the economic feasibility of investment decisions that would increase energy efficiency and renewables' penetration in the household sector. To this purpose, a mathematical model has been developed, featuring an hourly time step definition of the internal and external energy exchanges and an accurate modelling of the electricity billing. It has been applied to an Italian condominium case study where the energy requirements of the inhabitants – in terms of electricity, heating, cooling and private transportation – have been considered. Thanks to the model, it is possible to compare increasing levels of electrification (e.g., photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, electric vehicles and batteries) and assess the benefits of collective selfconsumption on the condominium cash flows and environment (fossil CO2 emissions).

Personal and intimate consequences of cultural globalization have received little critical attention in comparison to scholarship on politics, finance, or the environment. Taking digital technology practices of young adult expatriates as an entry point to understand the emotional and affective consequences of transnational mobility, in this article we research the interrelated cultural politics of emotion, migration, and digitization of middle-class mobilities. Presenting a case study of digital experiences of young adult expatriates (aged fifteen to twenty-five years) living in the Netherlands, we seek to better understand how emotions and affects of middle-class transnational mobility are mediated through digital technologies. Our empirical argument draws from thirty-one semistructured, face-to-face in-depth interviews with young adult expatriates and smartphone photo-elicitation exercises. We develop the notion of transnational digital intimacy practices to address how transnational mobile subjects negotiate emotional precarity through selective smartphone and social media practices. Finally, we call into question the notion of "expatriates" as supposed elite mobiles with global privilege. This study presents an analysis of trust in types of media with an application to the Italian context. In particular, we focus on the role played by the ideological proximity between journalists' and citizens' political leanings while differentiating between traditional (press and TV) and new (internet and social networks) media. To do so, we assume, within the Hierarchy of Influences Model, that the individual level is increasingly influent in shaping news content. Then, we argue that because of the hybrid media system journalists political leaning are more apparent than ever. In such new environment, citizens have clear(er) knowledge about journalists' main ideological leanings and that this becomes a crucial issue in affecting their attitude towards media in terms of trust, in particular the perception of citizens with respect to journalists' honesty and fairness. The spatial theory of voting backs such assumption. To test our hypotheses, we use an original survey on a representative sample of Italian journalists conducted within the Worlds of Journalism Study Network framework to infer journalists' distribution across a left to right ideological scale. We then contrast such data with data from the Eurobarometer survey to understand citizens' political leanings and their attitudes toward news media.
