This article arises from the need to structure a discourse on the narrative function that allowsus to deal with our experience over chronological time from its refiguration into a time of our own,which we provide with meaning. We draw on our narrative identity to articulate this resorganisationeither as subjects or as members of culturally determined collectivities. Paul Ricoeur constructs thisaporetic corollary of Time and Narrative by combining the failure of speculative reason when dealingwith temporal experience and the simplicity of our everyday use of narrative resources to deal with it.Following this hermeneutical corollary, we reconstruct the postulate, diffusely incorporated by politicalscience in the final decades of the twentieth century, and interpret the meaning of the corrosion ofidentities that concerns contemporary sociology. We do so convinced of the theoretical profitability ofthe genealogical analysis that links this postulate with the Ricoeurian corollary. ; Este artículo nace de la necesidad de vertebrar un discurso alrededor de la función narrativaque nos permite tratar con nuestra vivencia del paso del tiempo cronológico desde su refiguraciónen un tiempo propio, al que dotamos de sentido. Para articular esta refiguración recurrimos a nuestraidentidad narrativa, sea como sujetos o como miembros de colectividades determinadas culturalmente.Paul Ricoeur construye este corolario aporético de Tiempo y narración conjugando el fracaso de larazón especulativa cuando trata con la experiencia temporal y la llaneza con la que cotidianamenteempleamos recursos narrativos para tratar con ella. A partir de este corolario hermenéutico reconstruimosel postulado, difusamente incorporado por la politología de las décadas finales del siglo XX, einterpretamos el sentido de la corrosión de las identidades que ocupa a la sociología contemporánea.Lo hacemos convencidos de la rentabilidad teórica del análisis genealógico que vincula el postulado encuestión con el corolario ricoeuriano.

Open science and open access to research data are important aspects of research policy in Austria. In the last years, the social sciences have seen the building of research infrastructures that generate data and archives that store data. Data standards have been established, several working groups exist and a number of activities aim to further develop various aspects of open science, open data and access to data. However, some barriers and challenges still exist in the practice of sharing research data. One aspect that should be emphasised and incentivised is the re-use of research data.

Preguntar esto parece ser una provocación a un público indefinido y diverso para que hable y exprese demasiadas cosas. ¿Acaso es una invitación a naufragar en un mar de nombres propios, historias y experiencias? The decisive importance of Science on the development of modern societies gives Science Education a role of special impact. Society sets the requirements rules and procedures of Education defining what concepts and competencies citizens must learn and how this learning should take place. Educational policies set by governments, elected and or imposed, not always reflects the will and ruling of Society. The School as pivotal element of our modern educational system must look behind and beyond imposed rules and regulations and persistently seek a permanent and open relation with Society, in all its dimensions, assuming and defending its crucial role on the development of Society and humankind. Aiming to contribute to an effective implementation of a sound widespread scientific literacy and effective Science Education in our Schools and Society at large, the Hands-on Science Network promotes a number of meetings and conferences open to the widest range of contributions on different pedagogic approaches with the common goal of promoting an effective learning of Science. Describes the Political Science department's assessment activities for academic year 2015-2016. ; The department reports on its loop closing measures in response to past years' assessments and analyses, focused on the updating and revision of the existing undergraduate and graduate curricula to align with new departmental strengths and interests, as well as revisions to the program SLOs in response to internal analyses of past assessments (including barriers to effective assessment).
